On September 28th 2013, I took part in a fund raising event at the TCVAA in Toronto, Canada. The event was a huge success. I am very thankful for the board members, and all the audiences.
During the concert, TCVAA has helped OM Charity raise a total of $1024 Canadian Dollars. I am forever grateful for the volunteers and the board for pushing the audiences to contribute towards my medical social work.
After I came back home, I have this request letter to provide some monetary assistance towards a brain surgery of a 20 years of Tibetan boy from Manali, India. He’s from a poor family. Apparently he had other surgeries in the past, and the family is still recovering from the loan the previous surgeries incurred.
With the strong support and donations from the audience in Toronto, Canada, Om Charity was able to send 50,000 Rupees to this family for their son’s brain surgery. Here is the receipt of our donation.
Again, on behalf of the 22 Sick and Poor Tibetans we are supporting, I’d like to Thank all the OM Charity supporters and esp the list below, for being able to step in and help this poor family in India for their son’s brain surgery.
Your contributions never goes in vain…
