Om Charity’s 1 year anniversary and a brief recap

Dear Friends and Supporters

Today is the 1 year anniversary of The Om Charity. I’d like to thank each and every one of you for your generous support over the past year. I consider this “our” joint social work project that I may lead and oversee, but it is OUR Project.

Together, we have delivered hope, love, support, and compassion to more than 25 Sick and poor Tibetans at their hospital bedside, to their wheelchair, and in their own homes.

  • To some, we helped pay for their medical health insurance for the year 2013.
  • To some, we donated a large sum for their hospital charges, and surgery costs.
  • To some, we continue to pay for their monthly medicine.

Out of all the success stories, unfortunately one of our patients did not make it out of the hospital in New Delhi. We sent our prayers and financial support to pay off all the remaining hospital bills, to make it easier for the onsite Tibetan social workers.

Overall, we were able to deliver medical support, love, and care to many Sick and Poor Tibetan families from Ladakh to Byalkuppe.  Again, I thank you for your generous contributions. This project would absolutely not be possible without your support, love, and generosity.

I will continue to sing and organize fund raisers for this project. I hope you will continue to be part of this social work in years to come as well.
